Frequently asked questions

Will Paypercut work with my WooCommerce store?

Our plugin supports WooCommerce 6.6 or higher, WordPress 6.6 or higher and PHP 8.1 or higher. It works with both Classic and Blocks checkout and supports High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS). If you use a custom checkout or heavily customised theme, contact our team so we can check compatibility.

Can I keep my current payment provider while testing Paypercut?

Yes. You can add Paypercut as an additional payment option in WooCommerce without replacing your existing provider. You can install and test the plugin before deciding whether to switch your existing setup.

Do I need a developer to install the plugin?

Not for a standard WooCommerce setup. You can install our plugin directly from WordPress.org and configure it in your WooCommerce settings. You’ll need a Paypercut account to connect it, and our team can help if your store requires additional configuration.

How long does activation take?

Registration is fully online, followed by standard business verification. Approval time depends on the information provided and the checks required. In the meantime, you can install the plugin and test payments using our sandbox environment.

Are there any maintenance fees or minimum turnover requirements?

No. Our WooCommerce plugin is free, with no setup fee, monthly subscription or minimum turnover requirement. You pay a fee for each successful transaction according to the pricing applicable to your business.

How do I refund a customer?

You can issue refunds directly through the Paypercut Dashboard. The refund is then reflected in the transaction status.

Is the Paypercut WooCommerce plugin secure?

Yes. Customers enter their card details through our secure checkout, so sensitive card information isn’t passed through or stored by your WordPress site or the plugin. The plugin’s source code is publicly available, while development is managed internally by Paypercut.

Is there a contract term, and how can I cancel?

There’s no mandatory long-term commitment. If you decide to stop using Paypercut, you can terminate your agreement in accordance with the applicable terms.
